DIY: Fringe earrings

I love earrings with tassels, fringe and any other kind with textile. I bought a pair of fringe curtains second hand many years ago (for other crafts) and I this was the perfect way to use what was left of them. I really love how they turned out (even though the’re not perfect) and I’ll probably wear them very soon.

These are the things you’ll need.

 1. Simply start by cutting the fringe trim in your desired width. I cut mine a bit wider than the clamps but if you want to you can buy wider ones or cut the trim accordingly.

2. Attach the ribbon clamps to the fringe trims using pliers.

3. Finally attach the jump rings and the hook ear wires, and then cut the fringes in the length you want. Make sure the earrings are the same length or cut one shorter for a cool asymmetric look.

Here is how they turned out!

I hope you enjoyed this post, I sure had fun making it!
