6 Outfits With A Red & Black Statement Earring

If you read my post DIY: Statement Feather Earring you’ve already seen my red and black feather earring and in that post I wrote that I would create outfits with this earring in the future. It’s been a while since the post but I finally got around to making these outfits yesterday. I hope you like these outfits if you do don’t forget to comment, like and share it.

These outfits works with any statement earring or earrings so go head and experiment, at the end of the day it’s all about what you like to wear. The idea behind these outfit was how to use the colors of the earring and how to incorporate it in to the outfits . So with this earring the color red in a couple of different shades seemed like a good starting point and then pairing it with basics like black and white. There is so much more you can do with this earring and I made these outfits mostly to give you an idea of what I had in mind when I made it (but also to give you some inspiration.) Keep scrolling to see the outfits.

In this first outfit I paired my printed jeans with embroidery in red with a simple cami, a hoodie tied around the waist and my new slip ons. This look is obviously a sporty one but it would also look great with heels instead of slip ons or sneakers. In the second outfit I went all out with stripes by pairing a red and white striped skirt with a black and white striped shirt. I added a belt for something extra and paired it with my Vagabond pumps. In the third outfit I am wearing a new faux leather midi skirt from Yoins which I paired with my red and black plaid shirt and I also added my Vagabond pumps again. If you don’t want heels in this outfit it looks amazing with slip ons or sneakers as well. The fourth one is one of my favorites and it includes my black embroidery crop flares (see the DIY here), an over sized white shirt with black ribbon details and leopard pumps. I love this outfit so much I think I’ll have to wear it some day.In the fifth outfit I paired the earring with my beautiful red (closer to orange as you can see) blouse from New Look with white skinny jeans (which actually has some red seams at a couple of places, although you can’t see them in them in the photo), my nude pumps and I also added a clutch in the same shade as the blouse. Finally in the sixth outfit I wore a pair of cropped flare jeans paired with my black slip dress which I half tucked into the jeans. Finally I added my red pumps to complete the outfit.

In my coming posts I have planned to create outfits using my midi skirts, now that I have received my faux leather one I think I’m all set.

Have a lovely day!
