(After posting my easy DIY the other day I got this brilliant idea to remove (temporarily) the ankle straps on  my black pumps and attach my striped ribbons. Of course this would have been a perfect addition to that particular post… Oh well at least it was easy to think of an outfit for today.)

I added this to the post 😉

Like I have mentioned many times before I love stripes and mixing them I love even more. Pairing a striped top with a striped pair of shoes is a great example of how to mix prints in a subtle way. I wrapped the ribbons over my jeans for an interesting layered effect and I added gold jewelry as a final touch.

Because I’ve had problems with my eye this past week I am wearing sunglasses in the pictures. It’s still a bit swollen and I felt it didn’t go particularly well with the outfit..

Have a lovely day!
