This week I have been working on another video and instead of a DIY I decided to focus more on fashion. Although I am focusing more on fashion here than on YouTube I still want to incorporate some of it. The plan with YouTube is to make a video for each category I want my videos to be. This way you’ll be able to see different options, but I’m also able to try different things out.

Because I love all forms of art and crafts, I have a lot to choose from. I might end up with another channel focusing things unrelated to fashion.

Sparkle Sparkle

As I mentioned in my last post, things that sparkle are trending this season and I certainly don’t mind. I’ll admit that I bought and downloaded an app just because of it and if you use Instagram a lot you may know what which app I’m talking about. Kira Kira is an amazing app that allows you to add as much sparkle to your photos and videos as you like. I love this app and I definitely recommend it to those who need more sparkle in their life. Now all I need are a pair sunglasses that do the same thing.. (I didn’t use the app for the video though, because I don’t know how 🙁 )

Today’s video is a lot shorter than the last one and it’s an example of how I could make outfit videos. I would like to say thank you to my cat Spike for joining me on the catwalk and to my cat Lizzie who totally saved my intro.

The Outfits

Here are the 5 outfits again and some information about them.

The first one includes my gold sequin skirt and a white knitted off the shoulder top that I altered and added pearl decorated straps to. I paired it with my gold cross body bag (with rhinestones), my new white thigh high boots (from Missguided) that I wore as slouched boots. I also added some large rhinestone earrings.

The second outfit includes a mesh turtleneck worn underneath an embellished vest and I paired it with my black sequin hotpants. Finally, I wore my sequin socks and my sock boots. I had planned to wear my black sequin beret, but for some reason I didn’t..

For the third outfit I wore a black velvet camisole with my favorite glitter skirt and I wore my sequin hotpants underneath it. I added my bum bag at the waist and I layered my new denim jacket on top. Finally, I added some black heeled sandals and the sequin hoop earrings I made in my first video.

The fourth outfit is probably my favorite and in it I wore my silver sequin dress as a base. On top I added a graphic T-shirt which I tied at the back. I added my holographic belt at the waist (to give it a top tucked into skirt effect) and then I added a denim jacket that I embellished with brooches. I also added a sparkly earring and for shoes I chose my new denim pumps with a rhinestone buckle in which I wore a pair of glitter socks.

Last but not least, the fifth outfit only includes three pieces, because that’s all you need with this top. This holographic sequin top sparkle more than anything I own and I love it. Because it’s such a statement piece I simply paired it with black cropped flares and black heeled sandals.
