DIY Fridays: Super Easy Drawstring Bag
. . .
. . .
I can’t believe it’s December already! This year has gone by so fast and I am ready for the next. My plans are to start making videos which I will add to my posts as well as on my Youtube channel. I have always wanted to make Youtube videos and I think it’s about time I started. These videos would involve the same things as my blog: outfits and diy’s, but it might also include other things like: makeup, art and other things I love (like singing and painting.) . . .
While making the outfits for today’s post I realized just how many velvet pieces I own. I think it it’s pretty obvious that I really like this cozy and elegant fabric. Velvet can be dressed up or down with the right pieces and it’s one of those fabrics that are meant for the holiday season (if you ask me.) Velvet looks good in almost any color, but I prefer jewel tones such as red, green and blue. I am currently a little bit extra fond of emerald green, which is why I’m wearing my green velvet dress on Christmas eve. . . .
The holiday season is here! This means it’s time to prepare for Christmas and by that I mean; shopping (and making) gifts for your nearest and dearest. Personally, I love Christmas time and it used to be because of the gifts I received, but now it’s because I love to give. If I could I would give everyone everything they wanted, but due to one teeny tiny problem (money), I can’t. . . .
Today it’s all about printed party dresses and I’m showing you two outfits with two different dresses. When I think about dresses for the holiday parties, printed dresses are usually not included. Today I am including them and it’s likely you already own something similar. Whether it’s a floral print, stripes, leopard or plaid, with the right accessories you can make it work. . . .
So after the fun I had the last couple of weeks with my lookbook, I decided to do something similar. Since the holiday season has finally begun, we are now in need of party outfits. You don’t need to get a new outfit for every party (why not save the money for the sales after Christmas?) . . .
