I know that I have mentioned before that emerald green is one of my current favorite colors. I had to bring it up again by making three new outfits. For something extra I painted my nails in this very color with some black and green glitter on top. Keep scrolling for some inspiration… . . .
Exactly a year ago (I just realized, I did not plan it, this is kinda creepy), I posted this (cringe), where I wrote a bit about head to toe black outfits. Today I am doing a similar post with lots more tips and tricks (but the same amount of outfits, again, creepy..) . . .
I have mentioned before that I love to layer, it is perfect during winter. It’s also the best way to create new outfits without buying new things. Instead, you use what you have in ways you hadn’t thought of before. A blouse can be worn over a turtleneck and a pair of jeans can be worn underneath a dress. . . .
I like tights, they’re necessary (where I live anyway) and they come in different thicknesses, colors and appearances. But I’m also gonna be honest and say that a part of me hate tights because, they’re so darn uncomfortable (against my skin anyway.) Either way, I think they look good and some are soft and cozy at first, and then the itch begins.. . . .
I guess you could say socks are always trendy, because we do wear them a lot, but now they’re also meant to be decorative. Trends like this are my favorites, when things you already wear all the time gets some time in the spotlight. This makes it so much easier and natural to follow a trend. . . .
So the very first post this year will be about… Socks! Yay… So this topic doesn’t sound all that exciting, but let’s make it so! Why you ask.. I honestly don’t have a good answer other than: I love wearing socks (not in a creepy way..), they are necessary during winter and I also bought three new (pretty) pairs, as well as some tights. Basically the topic this whole week is all about socks, sock boots and tights. Aren’t you glad you didn’t miss this post? . . .
