Yes you read the title right, I have turned a pair of my shoes into mules and I smile everytime I think about it. I showed you these mules yesterday, if you missed it you can check it out here. . . .

That’s truly how it started and I found these among many others. All though the’re within my price range I’m trying to avoid shopping to much. I also don’t really “need” them but from a shoe lover’s point of view I kinda do.. Anyway, so my point is that I wanted/needed a pair of flat pointed mules (if not for anything else to lounge around in at home.) I couldn’t purchase a pair no matter how little they cost so I started thinking (as always…) I asked myself how can I make my own pair of mules. And that’s when I got my brilliant idea that actually worked out the way I had imagined. . . .

Are you interested in colors and connect different shades with different things? Then you probably think about military uniforms now that I’m writing about khaki green. Or as I usually call it “military green”, some people call it olive green and others simply call it khaki. Obviously these different names aren’t quite accurate because the shades differ slightly. Olive green would be lighter or at least more yellow, moss green would be very unclear because there are different types of moss (really you are SO smart Frida.) and khaki is actually a shade of beige. But whatever we call this color we can all agree on that we’re referring to a natural darker shade of green. Then there is also a matter of warm or cool undertones. . . .
I began to write my fall/winter shopping list of 2017/2018 months ago. As you might guess I have another one for spring/summer as well as one for each year. Some of the things on the list I wrote a couple of weeks ago, and others have been moved from last year’s list. I’ll admit that some or maybe even most of the things on the list are things that I don’t need this year or ever. Nevertheless I like to write long lists; I write down anything I can possibly think of and then I start to cull (And I mean really thoroughly.) . . .
