As you may know by now I am very much in to crafts. I constantly search for ideas and inspiration for new projects. But sometimes I simply don’t have the energy to start a new project, so to help me in situations when I don’t have anything to do I have: long term projects. I only have one of these projects at the moment, but on the other hand I have worked on it for years and I still have a long way to go before it’s finished. . . .
If you read a lot of fashion books you have most likely heard of or read the books “It” written by Alexa Chung and “How to be Parisian wherever you are” by Caroline de Maigret among others. I don’t read a lot of books (even though I want to, I just never feel like it) but when I do and the book is good I can’t believe I don’t read more often. Anyway, I got these two books on two separate birthdays (if I remember correctly, it might have been Christmas) and I managed to get myself to read them (probably because I wanted these books). I love how books can be so inspiring like these two were and I just felt I had to share them with you fellow fashion lovers! . . .
The classic T-shirt and jeans have many varieties and I personally love this simple style. It’s the easiest outfit possible and it looks so gorgeous. Since I like to add something extra to all my outfits I thought I’d show some ways I would amp up the T-shirt and jeans (without changing the outfit completely.) . . .
I have wanted a tulle dress for a while, but I couldn’t find one; So I made one. It’s pretty much finished, it just need some adjustments. Once it’s completely finished I will show some more outfits with it. In these photos I wore the tulle dress over my favorite pair of jeans and two different t-shirts. I added two velvet chokers and a pair of patent leather boots. . . .
Today I am finally wearing my lace kimono (or maybe it’s more of a cardigan..) for the first time and I love it so much! I paired it with my favorite pair of jeans, a basic lose white top from Asos, black booties from H&M and then I added my velvet choker and a pair of earrings I made years ago. . . .
If you know me well, you know I can’t stick to my shopping lists (It’s SO hard!) and I always buy way more things than I should. So here are the things I’m buying this month (plus a skirt I definitely don’t need that wouldn’t fit in the collage, see it here.) . . .
