Top 3 Sources: outfit inspiration

 Dear reader,

Being a blogger means the need for inspiration constantly. Whether it is for my daily outfits, new styling ideas or what sort of posts to write; I always need inspiration. In this post I’m going to tell you about the best places I use to get inspiration.

1. When I need inspiration for something, the very first place I always look is in my phone’s photo app. I always use google to search for different type of outfits (or anything else). I search in many ways from “winter outfit” to “over knee boots outfit” and “red velvet dress outfit.” I look through the photo section and save anything that inspires me. I then add my photos to different folders to keep them organized and whenever I need inspiration I look in that particular folder. If you don’t have room for a lot of photos in your phone you can keep a folder on your computer (or external hard drive) as well and only keep your favorites on the phone.

2. The second place I look when I need inspiration is an app in my phone called Chicisimo. You create your own account and you can upload your own outfits. But more importantly you can view outfits other people have uploaded which can be of either themselves, bloggers or celebrities. The search engine is really great when you need to find outfits with a particular piece of clothing. Say you want an outfit with a red pair of pants, you can chose pants and then the color red (and add a hashtag if you want) and the search will result in outfits with red pants. It’s a really cool idea (I kind of wish I had thought of it :P)

3. Okay so if these inspiration sources above isn’t successful (which they usually are), I have more options. The third place I look is in fashion magazines or pages that I have saved from magazines. I cut out photos out of old magazines before I throw them out, and then I make collages and put them in a binder (If am not too lazy..)

There are a lot of places to find outfit inspiration, but these are my favorites. What are yours?

Thanks for reading!
